About Our Firm: National Leaders in Health Care Fraud Enforcement

Our law firm, Barrett Johnston Martin & Garrison, PLLC, represents individuals all around the country who are considering coming forward to expose fraud on a federal or state health care program.

Our False Claims Act practice is led by Jerry Martin. Jerry served as the United States Attorney from 2010-2013, having been nominated by the President and unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate. We have filed False Claims Act cases that have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries all across the United States.

After graduation from Stanford Law School in 1999, Jerry moved to Nashville, the “health services capital” of the world.  He served as U.S. Attorney from 2010-2013 and made his mark on health care fraud enforcement, receiving national recognition for his efforts. He co-chaired the Attorney General’s Healthcare Fraud Working Group, which set the Department of Justice’s policies and priorities for health care fraud enforcement.

Today Jerry and his colleagues represent health care fraud whistleblowers in cases all over the country.

Yes. The False Claims Act has an anti-retaliation provision that allows you to bring a claim to seek recovery for up to twice your actual damages (e.g. lost wages).
